I recently had the great pleasure to try, style and photography the EJ 5 Corona chair and the EJ-197 Insula Piccoli Wood table in oak. I even had a chance to design my own Corona chair which was a very exciting experience. I’ve chosen fabric from Kvadrat and spring steel in champagne.

The Insula Table is a flexible table series available as a bar table, coffee table, dinning table and and coffee table. The new edition Insula Piccolo Wood is made in oak and made for a beautiful nordic look. Nature and organic forms are part of the inspiration of the table series Insula, designed by Anne-Mette Bartholin Jensen and Morten Ernst in 2009.The shape of the table is dynamic and appealing – and matches numerous contexts. Insult functions, as the name suggests, as well small islands. The coffee tables can be placed together or in groups, resembling clusters of islands.

EJ 5 Corona speaks for itself. Simple and charismatic like the wreath or corona that can be seen around the sun during full solar eclipse. Corona became a classic a long time ago and has already appeared in numerous films, fashion editorials and music videos. Poul M. Volther was inspired by the human anatomy when he designed Corona which is why it looks light but as strong as spine.
